It's been a long time since we've discussed with you guys (like the good old days for those who were there since the beginning)
we found it would be interesting to review the year with you guys
and at the same time discover new songs :)
here some rankings of our favorites of the year~
non-kpop ranking:
3. DEAN X ZICO // POUR UP (풀어) // LISTEN here
he's realllyyyy new so we hope that people can take more interest in him~ ^^ plus, his video is aesthetic to the max and his style is very unique
2. DAY6 // CONGRATULATIONS // LISTEN here
they debuted this year too and Congratulations sounded a lot different than other releases in 2015 ^^
1. OH HYUK X PRIMARY // BAWLING // LISTEN here
MV on point, music on point, voice on p.o.i.n.t!! but we couldn't find any GIFs :( Oh Hyuk was probably our favorite artist of the year XD
k-hiphop ranking:
3. CJAMM X JUST MUSIC // JUST MUSIC (그냥 음악이다) // LISTEN here
we couldn't find any pic/gif of his MV but please listen to his full album (good boy doing bad things)!!! we couldn't decide which song to put because they are all very good!! Just Music (his label) rappers are all really decent and have nice songs so please give them a listen!! ^^
2. IRON // BLU // LISTEN here
his rap genre is totally different from the usual, the song has a glam-rock feel so please listen to it if you wanna hear something different! ^^
1. JAY PARK X OKASIAN // YOU KNOW (뻔하잖아) // LISTEN here
the MV is a bit 19+ ^^;; but the song is really good!! :D plus, he got his underwater squad in the MV~
kpop ranking:
3. BIGBANG // BAEBAE // LISTEN here
Baebae was our personal favorite release from Bigbang ^^ no need to say much since probably all of you have heard it by now XD
2. IU // 23 // LISTEN here
IU got into some troubles this year but her songs were really good regardless!
1. SUNGGYU // KONTROL // LISTEN here
the song was a bit underrated compared to the other 2 :( so please have a listen if you have some time!^^ the story behind the MV is clever too :D
some of you may be new to our blog but we don't usually listen to a lot of kpop (which explains why we make some mistakes when typing idols' names ^^) so feel free to share your favorite releases of the year below with us and fellow PC-tizens! ^_^
