You live with your mom and dad right? My mom has had her periods for over 35 years now. After giving birth to us, our mom had her periods for about 1 month and it was hard for her. The person that was next to her helping her out during her hard time was our dad. For most of the families, the persons changing our diapers were our mom and dad. I don't think that there's a reason you won't be able to talk about it? When I have my periods, I talk to it to my mom and she buys me a sweet cake. I think that the people who can't do it are weirder?

I'm close to my dad too but I can't talk to him about that. I don't like talking about it to my mom either

When our dad knew about it the first time, he bought me a cake and flowers to congratulate me with my family.. there's nothing shameful about having your periods!
