[teens stories] WOW MY CRUSH IS GAY...

I'm friends with my crush and when we're bored at night, we text each other through FB messenger (I can't share it). I really like my crush but we had a conversation about homosexuals since our homework was on this topic.

I respect gay people and to be honest, I'm still not fully aware of my sexuality and thought for a while if I was bi so I don't hate them.

But my crush asked me what I thought about gay people and I responded him honestly. I told him that I'm fine with them as long as they don't go overboard with their skinship in public, and that I respect them.

And he asked me carefully "if I'm gay, what would you think of me?" and it startled me on the moment so I replied "why are you asking me? Are you gay?" and that's when he told me he was gay. I told you awhile ago that I respected gay people but I don't know what to think now that my crush is gay... I liked him for so long but since he's gay, he might have never cared for meㅠㅠ It was such a wake up call... I've liked him for years and it makes me sad that he's gay...

Seriously, what should I do?ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

It must have been hard for him to tell you.. he must have trusted you a lot so your friendship must be really strong. Think of this positively and fighting

My crush was gay too.... At first I didn't believe it and I thought that he did that to separate himself from me but when I thought about it seriously, I understood. He was able to share his concerns with me so we became even closer. I met with his boyfriend and the three of us are super close now even though my heart was torn....ㅎOP fighting !

From his point of view, when he confessed that he was gay, people could've started weird rumors about him.. the fact that he told you shows how much he trusted you... but you must be f*cking heart broken
