[enter-talk] I'M THE DONGSAENG OF A REAL LIFE IDOL

Hello. I'm the dongsaeng of a real life idol. (Please don't ask me who the idol is. Our oppa is not only affiliated with his group but also to all the fans.)

I'm a fan of another member from my oppa's group. If I can put this simply, you can say that I'm a fan of my oppa's group. I'm keeping in touch with both my oppa and the other members who are also my oppas. When I contact them, they always tell me the same stories.

They all say that they enjoy doing concerts, fan events and fansigns. They really love their fans and say that they are really happy for becoming celebrities.

Everyone, do you know what the "eumji culture" is? It's when you imagine scenarios of members of the same group being in a couple together. The oppas are all aware of the coupling part and also have read fanfics about themselves. They spared me the details but from what I heard from the staffs of the company, it was pretty severe.

Of course, since they are celebrities, they have to consider stuffs like sasaengs and couplings and they are pretty tolerant towards those things. They said that they don't mind people mentioning those stuffs on their SNS but they prefer if fans can refrain from talking about those at events such as fansigns or concerts. They said that fans would go to them during fansign events and ask "do you read fanfics?" or "oppa, which coupling do you like?" or during concerts, if they just hold hands between the members, the fans would go "they are dating!". The oppas said that they rather people stop doing that.

They just smile and pretend that they don't mind it but they are seriously taken aback and said that they don't know how to respond to that.

So they said that when they decide who's gonna be roommate with whom, they always refrain from making the most famous "couples" sleep together. So if A B C D were in a group, they would make the people with the least couplings sleep together. (It might be different depending on groups but that's what my oppa's group does)

They said that sometimes, they intentionally hold hands or smile at each other for the fans but they just think of the members as being cute or handsome. It's not that they are interested in them, they just think of each other as co-workers or friends.

You are free to imagine all the couplings you want but please don't talk about it with them at official events. Sometimes, when my oppa comes home and complains to me about stuffs, most of the times, it would be about sasaengs or coupling. Seriously, he says that when people mention this to him at events, he just goes blank. Because of that, sometimes, he regrets debuting.

The fans are the ones that the oppas treasure the most but they are make things difficult for them from time to time. Thank you for reading this.

I don't care about this being fake or not. But seriously, let's keep the "eumji culture" only in the shades (T/N: eumji = shade). Please stop mentioning couplings on V-app

I don't care about this being fake or not but why would you mention this in front of idols?; I wouldn't even want to talk about this with them. I also hate those kind of comments in the YouTube videos

For real, please don't mention it during V-apps. It makes everything so f*cking awkward, do you know how your bias would feel like reading that stuff..?
