IF your friend has dry lips, don't buy her MAC at all cost. Only get her MAC if her lips are oily. I don't think that the brand is that important, just get her something that fits her lips. Confirm with her first, otherwise you might end up buying her the wrong lipstick. Just try and observe your friend's lips

I would want YSL but since it's a bit too expensive, I would go for MAC
