What did they do to deserve the rookie award?

I'll be honest, I'm a Jung Sewoon fan, but if they're going to be like this then what's the use of the fans voting for this.... It's obvious that they should be giving the award to someone who actually achieved good results, but we go overnight without sleeping to spend our money to vote in troops just to give them a win, so isn't it given that they should be receiving an award?
