[teen stories] PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS COMFORT WOMAN'S STORY *HEAVY CONTENT*

t/n: the post is kinda long, so we'll paraphrase it, but it's nonetheless an issue that is very severe.

"Jung Oksun grandmother who received a whole body tattoo after being caught trying to escape being a comfort woman"

t/n: you can read her story here: http://cavemancircus.com/2017/02/16/story-ok-sun-jung-horrifying-experiences-went-comfort-woman-japan-ww2/
DISCLAIMER: VERY disturbing, but eye-opening about the whole issue, if you have a weak heart, proceed at your own risk. It helps clarifying this post too.

So basically the whole issue was that Abe (Japanese Prime minister) originally said he would not be attending the Pyeonchang Olympics due to the 2015's "agreement" about comfort women. But changed his mind and now decides that he will be attending the Olympics. He also wants to discuss the reparation deal of 2015 with president Moon and talk about Japan's stance on this issue.
The Japanese military has remained unapologetic and showed no remorse towards the sex slavery victims.

They were sent to Japan at a very young age to live the life of comfort women and the survivors have testified repeatedly about what happened to them but all Japan could say was that they weren't coerced to do it and kept distorting history.
Jung Oksun revealed all Japan's wrongdoings by showing the tattoos on her tongue, lips, chest, stomach, all the way to her lower parts.
Jung Oksun grandmother was born in 1920, in Hamkyungnam-do, North Korea

In 1933, at 14 years old, she was about to prepare the lunch for her parents working in the field when she was taken away by the Japanese military.
They tied her hands and legs and brought her to the police station. 8 police officers undressed her and intimidated her. They used violence and stuck a sock in her mouth while rapping her.
Because her body was resisting them, a policeman punched her in the eye and she wasn't able to see anything from that eye for 3 years.

She was later moved to Hyesan military base with 400 other girls. They were all about 12-13-14 years old, they were all below 20 years old.
There were about 5000 Japanese solders, and there were be around 40 soldiers who came to Jung Oksun grandmother daily.
Whenever she wasn't listening to them, they would burn her skin with a metal rod. Even when her skin was all peeled off, the military wouldn't care and keep beating her.

In August of that year, the Japanese military tortured 15 girls by dragging their body on a bed of nails. Jung Oksun grangmother still remembers the names of the Japanese soldiers clearly.
Nishihara battalion commander, Yamamoto  commander, Kaneyama commander. Names that will never be forgotten.
One day, an officer said "who can serve 100 people a day? Raise your hand" and a 14 years old girl asked "why do we have to serve 100 people"

On the same day, the same girl was dragged on a board with 300 nails on it wearing only panties, and they beheaded her. The Japanese military thought it would be a waste to bury her corpse, so tried to dump her in the toilet.
Her friends who saw this happen all started crying to which Kaneyama commander said "Those chicks must be crying because they don't have any meat to eat" so they boiled her body and forced them to eat it.
In June 15th 1937, Jung grandmother tried to escape with a few other people and was caught on the 17th and went back to the comfort camp.

From that moment onward she became subject to severe torture. Along with the other 12 people who tried to escape, they would fill their stomach with water and press it to disgorge them and did it on repeat.
They would press hard on both her sides on a board to the extent where her ribs would break and her hip bones would come out. She lost consciousness several times.
They wanted to find the mastermind behind the escape plan, but they all kept their mouths shut, so they would hang them upside down on a metal bar.

After that they brought a black machine, and there were full of small needles.
They were torture needles. That's when the military tattooed her inside her mouth, chest, stomach and all the way down there. The grandmother still has those tattoos distinctively now.
She miraculously survived but her promising youth was stolen.

Jung grandmother says she does not desire compensation. She wants to ask them "Why did you take us girls out there and did this to us?"
It's an 70 years old question, but Japan has never released an answer.

Those m*therf*ckers, that's the reason why as much I want to see some positive in Japan, I will never be able to. That's one reason why I don't use Japanese brands. Nowadays, MUJI became the trend, but please let's have some sense and don't buy them. Same goes for Uniqlo. There are so many prettier brands than Uniqlo out there (to be honest, their clothes aren't even pretty). Must we buy clothes from Japan? That's so disgusting. I just want to vomit whenever I see a Japanese person. And those kids who go to Japan to take pictures wearing a kimono and post it all over SNS, do you guys have sh*t instead of a brain? There are still a few of those grandmothers living among us. How do they expect us to end this with just money. Even chicken are more intelligent than this. I don't like sashimi, so I don't eat that often either,  I don't eat a lot of foods like ramen, udong, naegmyung. Daiso, Miniso, shops like that are useless. One piece, Conan looks so sh*tty so I don't watch it. I was always really interested in Korean history? Japanese people have no principles and they're selfish. I don't like groups with Japanese members in it either. You can say that I hate Japan, it's possible that I do hate them, but the only reason why I will hate Japan until the day I die is because my grandmother used to be a comfort woman. Because I'm directly related to her, I can't help but hate Japan for what they did. Try to take my position and think about it. Imagine your grandmother taken to Japan when she was young and to live life like a homeless person serving them, won't you be hating Japan too? No matter how much Japan apologizes and tries to compensate with money, my hatred towards them will never disappear. Later on, when I get married and have grand-sons and daughter, I don't know for them, but I would still not forgive. I know that there are people who ask "why are we making such a big deal out of it?" my grandmother was such a precious person to me, I would replace my life and give it to her if I could.

Even if Japan apologized, I won't be able to accept it, how are we supposed to forgive this?
