[marriage/ in-laws] MY WIFE KEEPS ON BUYING MAKEUP THAT SHE ALREADY OWNS

I’m tired of it.
If we’re talking about the amount of money she spends on her makeup, she spends at least 200,000 won per month and when she spends a lot, she can even spend 500,000 won on makeup (T/N: ~200-500$).
Once she buys them, I don’t even know if she uses them all or not.
Those that she doesn’t use are just lying there gathering dust. She says that it’s a waste to throw them away so she stores them all in a drawer.
If we were to also consider her beauty products, then the number would be even more extravagant.
She buys all sorts of lotions, essence, creams, etc.
I’ve never used anything she bought for myself. How can I fix this habit of hers?

She’s just addicted to shoppingㅋㅋ there are always the same kind of girls saying stuffs like “is there anything that stresses her at work?” or “is she depressed?”ㅋㅋㅋㅋ but she’s just straight up wasting her money + is addicted. Please share your bank statements with each other and  if she gets mad, they just use as much money as her by yourself too

Whether she works full-time or part-time, you guys should set limits to your spendings and only spend within the limits

No but she’s spending money so severely and you think that he should be all “ooh-joo-joo” with her because you think that she has depression? Me too I’ve been depressed before but that depends on the person’s personalityㅋㅋ it’s the same as people on their periods. Some gets grumpy and some don’t. The issue here is her personality;; she’s not spending 50~60,000 won but 500,000 won. What “stress” or “depression”?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

She’s addicted to shopping. Medically speaking, being addicted to shopping isn’t really defined as a mental illness but she could be like this because of stress, depression or even because of some impulse control disorder. You can fix this with behavior therapy or going to a psychologist would be good too. More importantly, it will be much better for her if you persuade her through kind words than by getting mad at her.
