It was confirmed that the police are investigating Hwang Hana for suspicion of usage of drugs.
Two warrants against her have already been filed
The Sourthern Gyeonggi Provincial police have obtained a report last October about Hwang Hana habitually doing drugs.
In the summer of 2015, it was suspected that Hwang and her friends were injecting themselves with methamphetamine.
The police filed charges against Hwang for suspected drug use at the end of last year and have requested a search and seizure warrant against her in order to perform drug tests on her.
However, the prosecution denied her charges and it was concluded that there were not sufficient proof as it happened 3 years ago.
The police got additional statements against Hwang from her acquaintances and filed a warrant against her again. However, the prosecutor denied it again saying that the proofs were inadequate.
It is unknown whether a warrant for search and seizure will ever be issued due to the previous refusals.
T/N: it was revealed earlier that Hwang Hana said that her dad and uncle were close to the chief prosecutor and the police chief.
