[theqoo] CGV POSTER UNDER FIRE FOR CREATING WORDS INSTEAD OF TRANSLATING

Korea will release the first-run of the movie of USA's Supreme Court member Ruth Bader Ginsburg called "The Lawyer who changed the world" (On the basis of sex) on June 13th
CGV is currently under controversy for promoting the movie using their posters

(the words behind: unrivaled style, serious hipster, total insider (t/n: insider is the popular kid of the school), daily look (t/n: like daily fashion/clothes)) 
(the word in front: generation's icon)

"Lovely day"

They gathered a bunch of buzz words like the poster came out from an Instagram or Facebook post (t/n: dailylook is a popular IG hashtag in Korea)
And how did they go from "HEROIC" to "Lovely day"?

Especially in the first poster, they made "Justice" purposefully stand out from the background,  because it shows what the movie is all about, but they didn't even try to translate that, they just threw that away. It makes me wonder what their intentions are

1. This is seriously too cheap

2. They really are f*ckers

3. This is not only disrespectful to the movie, but a total disrespect to the Supreme Court and Ruth Bader Ginsburg

4. US is so sensitive about these issues lately, I hope this blows up and they get sued

5. I wonder what went in the marketing team's heads, they literally recreated an entire work

6. Are you joking you f*ckers?

7. Did they take every buzz words they could find on Instagram and made this poster?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ  They didn't keep anything that was on the original poster

8. Is it some DIY?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ They are crazy ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

9. If you threw an English dictionary at some middle school students to translate this poster, I think they would still have done a better job than this

10. People will be less inclined to watch the movie with these postersㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
