[theqoo] LIU YIFEI RUINING MULAN...

On August 14th, because of the HK demonstration, all North America started to boycott Mulan..
They were #4 on Twitter telling us to boycott it..
Liu Yifei is the lead for Mulan

The people who are boycotting it also took it to Disney's official SNS

On the 14th, Liu Yifei released on her IG "I support HK police. You can beat me" and "HK is part of China" "What a shame for HK"

Liu Yifei's English name is Crystal Liu, she's an American but her origins are Chinese

She's American and has an American agency but she's a Chinese actress and randomly started supporting China and HK police. The Americans who consume the media have a negative image of China, so she released those posts to go against mainstream media

People are not viewing her positively thinking why must an American support China. First of all, if the US market takes a hit from this, it'll be hard for them to recover from the Chinese market

This is the new poster revealed today

With all the controversies going around, will this movie succeed?

original post: here

1. She calls herself an American? Hul

2.
(article talks about how Lana Condor was almost cast for Mulan but unfortunately it fell through)

3. They'll be able to succeed with the Chinese market at least, so it is definitely not going to fail

4. Oh...I will boycott it too

5. They'll definitely hit a fortune in China, but I'm sure that Disney has forecast the profit they could make from this movie and it will definitely not hit the target. And I think that this can potentially take a hit from Disney producing anything China-related so the boycott is meaningful in that way

6. Me too I'm not watching

7. I really enjoyed Mulan but I won't watch this

8. I would understand if she was in China and acted this way, but doing this in America tsk tsk tsk. HongKong fighting

9. They'll make all the profit in China

10. Aren't they going to make big money in China? The nationalist people will all watch it thanks to Liu Yifeiㅋㅋㅋ
