[teens stories] BUT IS IT TRUE THAT K-POP'S IMAGE OVERSEAS IS FOR THE LOSERS?

People there call it "gay-pop" right? If they look at k-pop they might be curious but if you think about it, they have artists like Ariana, Billie, Lil Nas X, etc. Will they even see it as a song since it's not even in the same language?.. as Koreans, we see these as songs but... do they really look like losers?
I'm asking with the exception of BTS

Just say that even if they liked BTS, they would be considered losers, what "exception"?

It's kinda liked by frantic fans over there no?

I saw a video back then and the kids who liked Bangtan were viewed like losers...

But if they had a loser image, why would famous foreign celebrities make collabs with them? No matter how much money they can get, from the pop singers' perspectives, wouldn't it be too much of a loss for them?? I don't live there so I don't know

It's not because K-pop is popularㅋㅋㅋ it's because BTS especially has a lot of fans. That's why they appeared in the New Year countdown with Post Malone that all Americans watch. But of course Bangtan will have more Asian fans since they are Asians themselvesㅋㅋㅋ If you lived in Europe or the US, you will know. Most Asians receive the nerd-treatment and it's hard for us to get in the cool crowd. Us Asians might not feel good about it but we do have the losers image

I have a relative who lives in the US and I asked her about Bangtan and he/she said that they are considered the mainstream now? If they were only liked by losers then why would they be invited to the NY countdown?
