[theqoo] THE IDOL COMPANY + PRODUCING IS MORE IMPORTANT VS MEMBERS ARE MORE IMPORTANT

This is something that always receives debate between idol fans

1. The company + producing is more important
No matter how much of an unicorn you are, you need to get into a big agency or company with good producing to guarantee success

2. Members are more important
Idols who can produce is kind of a charm that makes you stand out more, but the most important is how much of a rare gem you are in the industry. No matter how bad the producing is, you still have the star factor enough to push you far

What do you guys think?

original post: here

1. If course 1111 but I will argue it's the planning ability of the company rather than the company itself.. Everything about idols is about planning

2. Obviously 1, 99% of idols success is accounted into how well you plan them

3. Of course 1, every time there's business posts about my bias, they always have to criticize how bad the marketing of the agency is... Me too I have to acknowledge it

4. I feel like 1 will help you hit big to a certain extent, but if you want to hit all the way to "daebak" you need to have 2. You'll get recognition from the public through 1 but you can only get a core fandom with 2

5. If I really had to pick one between the two it would be 1. But in the end, it's all about luck + timing, you need all the stars of the universe to align to become a A-list idol..

6. Before joining a fandom, it's all about 111111111. The way you will assess the kids' talents or visuals will all depend on how well the plan is and how charming they look

7. 1, there are so many groups who have visuals and skills but still can't hit big

8. 1.... I feel like agencies who have good producing tend to have good members composition as a given

9. When you debut, you need 1, but when you're a senior you need 2, no matter how good your company is, if the member gets into a controversy....

10. Face, producing/songs.... 2 just reminds me of Zea... Just look at Im Siwan, Kwanghee, Park Hyungsik...They took all of them and put them in the back burner
