In addition, the democratic party proposed an amendment to the Copyright Act to punish unauthorized recording and sharing of performances. When the amendment is enacted, fancams of performances without the permission of the copyright holder will become prohibited. Violation of this would result in imprisonment for up to one year or a fine of up to 10 million won.
The current copyright law only prohibits unauthorized recording at movie theaters. Although most concerts, musicals, and other performance production companies restrict illegal filming, there is no specific punishment for these violations.

I'm not that familiar with fansites, but do you really think that companies will stay still if people are selling their own goods of the idols? Of course it's nice for us because they have prettier videos and pictures, but I rather them not having any sasaengs who would follow them in private schedules or following them during their going to work/off work.
