Country 1 ruled over country 2 for over 2000 years -> 100 years ago,, country 1 got defeated and its people were forced with the king to hide in a remote island (these are the main characters who are defeating the titans)

I read everything about AOT and I got more and more upset about those subtle jabs that it makes me want to vomit reading it now
