However, "It can be deliberated according to the contents that hinder ethics and dignity," he said. "We cannot unconditionally regulate the appearance of tattoos on broadcast, but we can review it according to the content and context. We need to look at the details of the broadcast."
Then why isn't tattoos exposure during the Olympic Games a problem? The committee said, "There is not much room for intervention in the 'broadcasting' of the Olympics because the broadcasting companies do not produce the video."
An official from a terrestrial broadcaster said, "Even if celebrities cover their tattoos before the program is produced, if they see a tattoo that wasn't discovered during the recording, they must cover it and re-record it." he said. "Because the vigilance committee can impose sanctions depending on the 'context', broadcasting companies seem to be giving a warning in advance after internal deliberation."
