[enter-talk] IDOL'S YOUTUBE VIEWS PROMOTION

I know that the views are inflated, but isn't it a given that Youtube views should separate the promotion (t/n: from advertisement, Knets use 'promotion' the same way as paid advertisement/promo) views and real views for the general public?
The real views are around 20~30M but on screen, it shows 50~60M views which should be technically a scam
They need to pay advertisement fee to skew their views, but shouldn't the general public know about this? Aside from the idol fandoms, everyone would think that those views are organic
The amount of likes and comments are not even half the amount of views, yet the views are so high, which is so weird to look at
They should put (p) during the promotional period next to their titles. Just like every other videos, where commoners have sponsors, they all mention "advertisement" in their videos. Like this we'll be able to distinguish what is which (t/n: in Korea, it's illegal to not mention product placement/advertisement, so Korean youtubers have to put it in their description)
Isn't it unfair for idols who don't have their views inflated through promotions?
When it comes to setting records through views, they're competing against idols whose views are half made up from advertisement

Me too, I rather have that because there are also idols who are accused of inflating views when they don't use any promotions

I agree that those ads before and at the end of videos shouldn't count, the general public will think that these views are organic, while these idols are just pretending to be famous. There's no way of knowing it

Actually, if you go to teen stories or on other websites to complain about this issue, everyone would agree with you, but since people are promoting their biases on enter-talk, people rather pretend they don't know about the inflated views issues to promote their faves. Me too I share the same opinion as you, there should be something done about it

NCT, Stray Kids' views are 80% made up from inflated promotions, female idols do that too

The goal of promotions isn't only to 'promote' their idols per say, it's to gather more points for music shows. It's basically buying a higher score with money. It's just wrong

The Boyz's views are 90%+ made up of this

Idols who don't use promotions to inflate views: Bighit artists, BlackPink
