Their faces are really good

but in terms of vocals, dance, rap, there's nothing that really stands out to me 

1st generation

Vocal: Taeyeon, Xia Junsu, Heo Youngseang, Yesung, Ryeowook, Taeyang, Jonghyun, The Grace, Brown Eyed Girls, IU, Lee Hongki, Yang Yoseob, Kim Sunggyu, Sandeul, Luna, Hyorin, Jung Eunji, Taeil 

Dance: Eunhyuk, Hyoyeon, Taemin, Park Jaebum, Hyuna, Stephanie, Hoya, Minzy, Kahi

Rap: Miryo, GD, Park Jaebum, Yong Junhyung, Zico, CL 

3rd generation 

Vocal: Solji, Wendy, Rose, Mamamoo, Yuju, BTOB, Chen, Baekhyun, Leo, Kang Seungyoon, Kihyun, Seunghee, Hui, Kei, Day6, Yoo Yeonjung, Dokyum, Boo Seungkwan 

Dance: Kai, J-hope, Yugyeom, Seulgi, Lisa, Momo, SinB, YooA, Hoshi

First of all, those are the ones who come up to mind when I think about the categories

but looking at the 4th generation, their skills are so comparable to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd generations

There are lots of groups with no clear cut positions in the group

And rather than having a member that is outstandingly talented, everyone just feels average

If you look at it objectively, the first generation has the most untalented peopleㅋㅋ  They only have one kid who is outstandingly good in the group and fill the rest of the group with visuals who are just lipsyncing, that's what their generation was known for ㅋㅋ

I'm not sure if Jun Soyeon is 3rd or 4th gen but the fact that she's not mentioned here is the most bizarre thing. To be honest, her composing/writing/rap skills are all around CL's level. I think that she's the top among female idols
