Please tell me about the reality of the entertainment world & the reality checks you got. It's ok if you use harsh wording too

When you were busy making PDF's your oppa was asking other girls for their numbers

To put it bluntly, aren't idols the equivalent of the top best versions of Hobar athletes (T/N: male gigolos)/Afreeca TV's BJ's (T/N: BJ = streamer)? The BJ's with the best looks and skills are the ones who get the most balloons (T/N: donation money) and once they get them, they would say things like "thank you~ I love you~" and would act like they have nobody else but you. But instead, they will use the hard money that you earned and poured unto them as a footing to go higher in society. BJ;s manage their fans while Hobar athletes flirt and scam their clients...

They will be able to set a footing in life and get power while only returning you an "I love you~" back. For them, you're just a way of collecting money... if you stopped fangirling, your heart will be in pain and what will be left for you will only be an empty wallet. But for them, even if you stopped fangirling, their wallets will already be packed. Even if they act like they are nothing without their fans, they live in a better house than you, wear luxury brands and perhaps, they even have a lover who's doing well and friends who are doing well... but what about you..?

Just like the definition, celebrities should just be viewed as "entertainer"... if you have any feelings other than enjoying their content, then I think that something's wrong...

When celebrities win awards or when they perform in concerts and cry, some of them might really be crying because of their fans. But for older idols, they are crying because of their past hardships or because they got emotional over the thought of their success
