I feel like Fan-talk is such a weird place, so I'm not going there
Sorry for that
First of all, I'm a musical fan,
so I guess I'm a muggle among idols...?
I'll prove it below
Bangtan's songs seemed to be listened a lot by the general public, so I gave it a listen?
Actually if you just take a look at it, the answer is there..
This is the Melon graph
Bangtan's song is #2 (Orange) while Bolbbablgan's (Green) song is #1. This was the way it was at the start
You could see that Bolbbalgan's song was rising steadily from 6AM-9AM this morning
So this is the time when people start going to work or leaving work
Bolbbalgan whose numbers are totally based off muggle/general public's work while BTS didn't fluctuate much..
Usually for fandoms, they would stream overnight until the morning, but the graph for BTS is almost horizontal
So a graph looking like that is impossible if not for non-fans also listening to the song
t/n: to clarify, fans would stream overnight hence why BTS were steady between midnight to 6AM when everyone is usually sleeping (thus explains why Bolbbalgan dropped) and they stop streaming in the morning when the "general public" starts listening, hence when Bolbbalgan rose again and BTS remained horizontal based on OP's POV
Here is the proof I'm a musical fan

- For fandoms streaming, it usually starts tapering off after the first month, but theirs is just not moving;ㅋ It shows that muggles do indeed listen to them (just look at Billboard too)

- The graph shows that it's fandom + general public. When you add public in it, the graph levels off

- It's true that it's from the fandom and muggles, you think that there would be 500K people in the fandom who are always streaming? Then our fandom must be really impressiveㅋㅋ
