When I first met my girlfriend, she wasn’t on the skinny side but she was chubby in a good way.
It’s not that I hate skinny girls, it’s just that I prefer chubbier girls so I liked how my girlfriend looked to me
Also at first, when we were doing skinship, she was fine with everything but she wasn’t very comfortable with removing her clothes and was pretty self-conscious.
Even when we walk in the streets, she’s always covering her stomach..

So I tried to let her know indirectly

I said “You’re not fat. You look good. You might misunderstand since my preferences are weird but I actually like your belly fat.. so I don’t mind your stomach fat..”

I told her like that.

The problem now is that, she’s slowly gaining more and more weight since that time
When I met her at first, she was still conscious about dieting and she was eating carefully

But is it a reason to give up everything just because I said that I liked her belly fat?
She’s eating all the time now
Even if I call her, she’s eating something

Me and my girlfriend’s height difference is 10cm
When I met her for the first time, her body frame was no bigger than mine (my height aside, I’m a bit on the skinnier side. When my girlfriend grabs my hands, she always says that she was jealous of how slender they were)

You can say that she’s a bit chubbier than the average person.
Although I usually like women who are more glamorous and chubby, dating someone obese is a bitㅠㅠ
So should I tell her that she gained weight..? If I tell her to lose weight, won’t that make her too upset?

I’ve been thinking about this for a while now. And some time ago, I told her “he weather is starting to look nice so let’s go exercise together, I go jogging every day so I can bring you and we can play badminton”.

My girlfriend said ok and agreed but,
That day at night, she brought a cake… it’s to the point when people can’t help but notice her

What should I do…

I know that this site is dominated by women but I’m sharing my feelings honestly.
Actually before my girlfriend became obese, she was lovely but even so, people were not able not to notice her.
I seriously wonder if I’ll be ashamed to walk with her outside, I’m so worried…

We have to go on a lot of dates no? I wouldn’t mind if she was 2x chubbier than now if we were living overseas in an isolated place. But we are walking in the main streets of Korea and my girlfriend’s stomach is sticking out…ㅠㅠ

Please give me some advice

Go shopping with her. Pick a pretty dress and ask her to try it.. and then she will have a reality check..ㅋㅋㅋ even if it doesn’t fit her, buy it for herㅋㅋ tell her that the dress is so pretty and that you wonder when she’ll be able to wear itㅋㅋㅋ

I feel like the guy is trying his best but… it’s a bit tricky when you try to compliment a woman who already has low esteem.. I feel like the woman forgot that her goal was to diet. If my boyfriend always tells me that I’m fine even if I eat a lot, do you think that I’ll go lose weight? You should buy clothes with size 44 as a gift to your girlfriend. Tell her that you thought that it was her size so you bought it. I hope that she’ll realize by thenㅠㅠfind strengthㅋㅋㅋ

ㅠㅠ… if she doesn’t realize that she’s gaining weight, then I think that there’s nothing you can do…

No matter if you ask this in a female or male-dominant site, the answers will always be the same. Do you think that girls would date a guy that looks like a pig? Who would like someone with fat drooping around and with sweat in between the fat cracks?

I think that the solution would be… to first go on vacation in a nice place and eat good food. Then find somewhere with a nice background and ask some strangers to take a full body picture of you two. You won’t be able to see that much of a difference if it was a selca. If she doesn’t realize after that, then there’s no hope…
