The local tax office of the Seoul Metropolitan Government has launched a special tax audit for YG Entertainment in Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
This will not be a regular tax audit but a special tax investigation. Regular tax audits are usually conducted every 5 years. However, for YG Entertainment, the special audit will be conducted 3 years after their last investigation taken in 2016.
The special audit is launched due to suspicions surrounding CEO Yang Hyunsuk who is allegedly the real owner of Seungri's club 'Love Signal'. There is also suspicions of tax evasion surrounding that entity.

They only investigate them this late and later will say that they didn't have enough evidence. The YG fans will come again saying "they are free of suspections, so are you still gonna blame them for tax evasion?". Just thinking about it makes me annoyed
