BP's Boombayah and As If It Was Your Last were both well-mad songs.
They went into a vacuum for 1 year to prepare for Ddu-du Ddu-du and for all the time this took, the song is so-so.
I'm seriously asking this out of curiosity, are you guys satisfied with this song?
The dance doesn't have any big impact. This is the least powerful dance they've put out so far.
They were spinning their heads in Boombayah but making guns with their fingers and going "bbang bbang" just has no impact to me in comparison.
After the second verse, it suddenly started like a dance song that Shinhwa or Baby Vox would've put out 20 years ago. The lyrics are also chaotic.
The kids have luxurious looks + concepts + voice color but they are singing a song that feels like the early 2000's ㅡㅡ
Forever Young is so much better. Even though this song also sounds kinda oldish from the mid-end of the song, it's still much better. They should've gave that as a title song for the kids.


Honestly, if Black Pink released a song like Latata, they could've become a syndrome in Asia.
Also, they should stop using Teddy's weird songs.
Black Pink are big enough to collaborate with famous composers overseas, Yang CEO, think about this.
Teddy wrote good songs for 2NE1 but seeing how he plagiarized for Sunmi's Heroine, it's like he's lost it.

Just try following this dance. This dance is much harder than Boombayah, Whistle and Playing With Fire.  The fact is that Billboard is highly praising the song right now

There's nothing good about Latata either though. The song is flat and boring. They just mixed your usual EDM + House together. Nothing special

Am I the only one who f*cking liked the song? The beat is good and hip. I think that this is my favorite song among the BP songs

I'm not sure about the other things but this song is super addictive. The first time I listened to it, it was a bit ㅎ. But then 30 minutes later, I started going "hit you with that ddu-du ddu-du ddu"

Can we please not compare it to Latata...? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ To be honest, anyone can hear that Ddu-du is better than Latata...? I get that it's impressive that Soyeonie wrote the song but please let's not do this ^^ Also, people are always making a fuss about Teddy. If you're mad, just try going into YG first...
