There are way too many plastic surgery advertisements in the subway.
They are scattered everywhere.
We constantly live in this surrounding.
When we walk past these advertisements, we can't help it but also start looking at our own imperfections whether consciously or subconsciously and start thinking "should I give it a try too...?"
I get that that's the point of these commercials.
But even people who don't need plastic surgery start to contemplate the idea.
I just don't like seeing them
"France put heavy regulations around plastic surgery advertising in 2005"
"The cosmetic association in England puts heavy regulations in motion surrounding plastic surgery advertising in 2012"
"It's because we want to protect the patient. They think that if they become like the models in the plastic surgery commercials, their lives will be better"
"But (plastic surgery) doesn't guarantee you a better life and this is the issue. I think that it's giving people fake hope"

- Henry said something like that too no? He said that we should cut down the plastic surgery advertisement.. He's scared that the younger kids who see them will want to do surgery too. He said that doing plastic surgery itself isn't a bad thing but the issue is that people look at these advertisements and start standardizing their view about beauty and start wanting do receive procedures that they don't need. Even in Japan, you wouldn't see these kinds of commercials. Our country overexposes these ads way too much
