BTS Jimin
MXM Kim Donghyun
If you looked at the brand reputation rankings, the way to enter the chart is just to spam the names with nonsense content and raise their figures
Some months ago, Hye Eun's husband Kim Donghyun's scandal broke (t/n: he was suspected of fraud) and it got a lot of buzz, but instead, it participated in raising MXM Kim Donghyun's name reputation ㅋㅋ
And to raise Daniel's name, fans would create at least 1000 IDs and work like slaves to raise his name reputation by pulling off all nighter, if you go on the real-time searches right now you would realize they're still doing that
Usually organic growth on community talks + other media platforms buzz will get you around 100K~1M of mentions, but out of nowhere, we see figures from idols surpassing 100M now.
It's all because of those brand reputation competition from blogs and cafes, they keep spamming among themselves
I don't know for other brand reputations but I hope that idols brand reputation would stop
original post: here
1. Wow I f*cking hate those, as soon as an idol comes out on broadcast, the spamming startsㅡㅡ
2. This makes me realize that popularity are all made up nowadays
3. But it's true that Jimin and Kang Daniel are organically popular among themselves, they're even #1 and #2 on Gallup... They don't even need the fans to do slavery to be on the top
4. But Jimin and Kang Daniel have always been the top and they're in a friendly competition... I can understand as fans why they would want their faves to be on top
5. Wow seriously you crazy f*cker, V's akgaes have gone crazy with the competition against Jimin, they're even trying to drag him on communities now ㅠㅠ
"Jimin-ah next time, please hashtag Taehyung's name~ Jimin hashtagged his name just fine though, they're both 95'er friends, but it's quite sad seeing him only do it for himself~"
"Seeing how that member took the care to hashtag his own name, I can't help but think he only thinks of taking care of himself. Why did he write the other member's name so weirdly? If he's going to be like that, he could've helped the other member raise his brand reputation too.. Instead of writing Taehyung, he should've written #V
6. I'm not only talking about idols, but brand reputation in general is an issue in itself... There's nothing reliable about it
7. What are you doing? Jimin never even talked about being in the brand reputation ranking, he got there organically, look at you trying to drag him
8. If you want to argue, at least do it with facts, Jimin was #1 since 2017 already, don't try to stir hate around him
9. You sound like an akgae
10. But if you actually look at Twitter, Taehyung fans are the ones who even made a cafe just to raise his brand reputation
(telling fans to spread a lot of information related to Taehyung and to talk about him)
