Actor Jeon Doyeon and Ryu Junyeol return to the small screen after 5 years, and the drama 'LOST' is showing a downward trend every day.
According to Nielsen Korea, an audience rating research company, the 5th episode of the JTBC weekend drama 'LOST', which aired on the 18th, had an audience rating of 1.7%.
'LOST', which started at 4.2%, dropped to 3.8% the second episode, then showed a shocking decline to 3.3% the third episode, 2.8% the fourth episode, and 1.7% the fifth episode.
The combination of Jeon Doyeon and Ryu Junyeol drew attention for the drama directed by Heo Jinho, who is famous for the movies 'One Fine Spring Day' and 'Christmas in August', but it is being criticized about the the plot being too gloomy which hinders the influx of viewers.
Also, there are opinions that the character Ryu Junyeol, who is playing the role of Kang Jae, does not fit the role. Kang Jae is a character who plays the role of brother, son, money lover and works as a service operator. As a former host, he is an attractive person who is always popular with older people. In response, some pointed out that the role did not suit Ryu Junyeol.
The lack of chemistry between Jeon Doyeon and Ryu Junyeol, a calm story with no major stems, and a gloomy atmosphere throughout the drama were also cited as reasons for not watching.

1. You can always end up casting bad actors, but there's just nothing happening in this drama... Even if the actors casted are bad, the drama will still blow up if it's fun
2. You're going to blame this on the actors? Blame it on the script
3. I just don't want to watch the plot
4. I feel like I would've watched it if it was a movie... But as a drama, the content is just too depressing and I don't feel the need to watch such depressing content for 10 episode straight
5. It's not all the male lead's fault, but it's true that because of the male lead, the audience don't want to watch it, even if Jun Doyeon is there
6. I bet even if the male lead of the drama was f*cking handsome, it will still flop. It's just boring. I don't understand why people always blame it on the actors. Even if they casted someone else, it will still flop
7. We're not blaming it on the looks of the actor. In comparison, just imagine Ma Dongseok playing a role that is supposed to be a slender person? I watched the show until episode 3 and the male lead just doesn't match his role at all. I just can't get myself immersed in the show.
8. The casting was a total fail...
9. Ryu Junyeol should've went for something that suits him, this was a miscasting..
10. If they casted a f*cking handsome actor, at least I'll watch him through the drama no matter how depressing the plot was. Ryu Junyeol was just a miscast
