[theqoo] FLASH REPORT, BIDEN "CONSISTENT WITH ONE CHINA... I DON'T SUPPORT TAIWAN'S INDEPENDANCE"

US President Joe Biden said on the 16th that the US has consistently abided to  'One China' policy for a long time and does not support Taiwan's independence.

According to China's state-run Central Television (CCTV), President Biden said at a video summit meeting with President Xi Jinping on the same day and emphasized that "we hope to maintain peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait and in the region."

"The United States makes it clear that we do not seek a regime change in China, do not seek to oppose China by strengthening our alliance, and do not intend to clash with China," Biden said.

"In the new era, China and the United States must adhere to three principles for coexistence, the first is mutual respect, the second is peaceful coexistence, and the third is cooperation and win-win," Xi said.

"The Earth is big enough for Central America to develop together," he said. "Let's not play a zero-sum game."

1. Only dumb kids will get mad over thisㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ  Don't just assume that Trump was against China and Biden is friendly with China from just this post and just read the article.. You guys don't know anything and just go "What?! Biden is throwing away Taiwan?! Crazy we can't trust the US".... This isn't something shocking to hear, so why are you guys trembling over one article?

2. Only CGTN gave such a title, but no other US media reported such headline. Just one month ago, he said he'd protect Taiwan if China attacks, but that's the conclusion that trash journalists took from this

3. This is the reason why we must take care of North Korea no matter how much they f*ck us over. After North Korea subordinates itself to China, the next one will be us. Such a policy of the Northeast Project should be taken seriously. There are people all over the world who say they don't know how to look at the long-term, but the first priority is to open up North Korea together with the United States.

4. Taiwanese people must've been mad over this

5. Is this considered fake news?

6. "On Taiwan, President Biden underscored that the United States remains committed to the “one China” policy, guided by the Taiwan Relations Act, the three Joint Communiques, and the Six Assurances, and that the United States strongly opposes unilateral efforts to change the status quo or undermine peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait."

From the White House.
The key is not to try to change the status quo!
They respect one China, but as long as they don't cause problems between the two sides.

7. US are so good at betraying

8. Sigh 😫😫😫

9. This isn't all, in international relations, national power is the most important...

10. The source is from CCTV, we need to look at US news too
