I read people saying how Yoona fans ganged up against Suzy so that she doesn't win the Baeksang award, but I want to clarify this

Seriously what are the standards for a failed idol group? I hear people mention NCT, Monsta X, Lovelyz, OMGirl,etc. as failed idols, but I seriously don't think that they're that bad?
If we look at boy groups, all groups don't necessarily have to reach EXO/BTS level.. And for girl groups, all groups don't need to be RV, Twice or Black pink.
There are so many groups in the idol market that never saw the day and disappeared..They're the groups that never made it no?
