A credit system for the society

- The credit system will determine if you will get benefits or not
- They are calling it the "Chinese version of Big Brother". There is controversy surrounding it concerning the citizen's personal information and human rights

- They are calling it a "ten-wang" project which means "net over the sky"
- They will install 20,000,000 CCTVs which will link to a national database

- They will spy on their citizen's actions in real time, this will track their personal history as well as their locations
- Even if they drive and honk by mistake, it will decrease their score

- Depending on your district, you can have different sets of rules on how you can increase and decrease your credits
- If you don't go see your parents often enough, your points will decrease

- What is the downside of being in the lower score-end of the society?
- For citizens will lower scores, their downsides include up to having their Internet speed lowered

- They will face restrictions when taking the train or the airplane. They will be denied to leave the country
- They will face restrictions when applying for employment in the legal, governmental and media industry among others

- They are planning to introduce all citizens to the Social Credit System by 2020
