Choi was sentenced to 3 years of probation for 1 year and 6 months in jail last August for charges of physical assault, intimidation, blackmail, property damage, etc. He was eventually cleared of his charges as he was found innocent for the accusations of "revenge porn" and for propagating her videos. Goo Hara's side then appealed and a second trial was scheduled.
