[enter-talk] IS KPOP STILL SOMETHING FOR NERDS IN THE US?

 Aside from  BTS, are KPOP fans still considered as nerds in the US...

It's kind of how our country treats Japanese animes....BTS is like that anime that everyone has acknowledged like One Piece and Naruto and the kids who fangirl on other idols are like those super hardcore otakus who only know those niche animes...?

Bangtan is considered a minor you said (t/n: minor = not mainstream)? Do you think that if they were treated like a 'minor' they would hold this much power as Asian artists? This was when they were touring in May in the Americas, they were the #1 in the world.

Even if BTS has succeeded overseas, soccer player Son Heungmin said he enjoyed BTS' songs in an interview and the Tottenham fans said "Son! If you score your goal in Gyeonggi-do tomorrow, we'll forgive you for liking BTS" like that
