YG is preparing their newsecret girl group for the later half of the year
[...]
The members' age group is in the middle of their teens intending to debut the youngest girl group in the idol industry.
[...]
The group entered YG's training at around 10 y'o and on average trained for 4~5 years.[...]
2NE1 age group average was around 20 y'o, BlackPink was 19 y'o.
[...]
YG are still in the middle of deciding the number of members + group name, but they're going to reveal the first ever high teen girl group to show the world a new kind of charm to KPOP fans.

Isn't this crazy....? I've always thought that it was bizarre to debut super young idols, but seeing such a big company debuting a young group makes me wonder how much younger the small to medium size companies will go for next time.... Isn't this crazy... There's not a single adult, how are such young kids going to survive the entertainment industry... BP's debut age was just right and the oldest was Jisoo who was 22 y'o and Jennie, 21 y'o with Lisa and Rose 20 y'o...

4 years before BP's debut, they were mediaplaying about how GD will be producing for them but turns out they've only debuted 4years later in 2016.... To be honest, they had teasers since 2012 already...

BP only had one full album 5 years after their debut... They've also mentioned solos for 3 years but in the end, only 2 of them got solos so far..ㅋㅋ  It's also been only 1 year since Treasure was out... They still need to be pushed more no??? Bigbang are also coming back soon yet they've been mediaplaying Bigbang's return for 4 years already... Aigo this company was always good taking care of many groups at the same time, but this still feels too rushed... YG let's go slower..

Don't worry, they're definitely not debuting this yearㅋㅋㅋ  I feel like when the average age will be in high school, they can debut. BP was the same too and they even mediaplayed with Treasure's debut for a long time and they debuted at the right age

At this rate, even if they're fast, they'll debut next year. This isn't considered fast for YG since they're known to mediaplay for a long time before debuting... BP came 7 years after 2NE1 and next year, BP will be 6 years into their debut, and if the members are high schoolers, I don't think people will make a fuss over their age. Bigbang too aside from 1 person, they were all minors when they debuted and the maknae in Treasure was 16 y'o

Ah but I hope they have at least one adult... I've never seen a group full of minors...ㅋㅋㅋ  I know I have to wait and see when they come out but I still hope there's at least one adultㅠㅠ

To be honest, will there be people who will enjoy a group with 15-16 y'o? Even if you're young, there's a limit to being so young... It's like seeing someone who can be my daughter. Nowadays female idols are so young, but 15-16 y'o is a bit.. ㅋㅋ

Some years later, we'll see middle schoolers debuting...
