Suspicion has been raised that BTS Butter (released on May 21, 2021) plagiarized the earlier song from Luca Debonaire - You Got Me Down (released March 23, 2020).
First of all, it was explained that this was some top-line composer, so it was concluded that it was not plagiarism. Luca Debonaire bought the top line from Sebastian Garcia in 2019 and made his song like that, but Sebastian Garcia later became Butter's producer. He just re-used his melody.
However, after the controversy over plagiarism, Stephen Kirk, one of the composers of Butter, took down the song by filing a false report on various music sites stating that You Got Me Down has infringed copyright (even though You Got Me Down came first ㅋㅋㅋ).
They removed it from Youtube and official music streaming websites
He acknowledges that Butter isn't plagiarized, but he's fed up with the fact that his song, which came out first, got pulled out
