[theqoo] WHITE POLICEMAN WHO ENDED UP KILLING BLACK MAN BY KNEELING ON HIS NECK, FOLLOWED BY CRAZY PROTEST IN THE US

The picture on the left is the black man called George Floyd, he went to the mart to do his groceries
An employee of the mart thought that George Floyd forged a $20 so he called the police (not sure if it was real money or a cheque, it varies between reports..)
And there are also reports saying that George Floyd didn't even know it was forged money
After that that white policeman arrived at the mart's parking and after apprehending George Floyd, he knelt down on his neck and killed him.

You can hear George Floy saying "Please, I can't breathe" in the video but the police just ignored him
You can watch the video where the policeman knelt on his neck and killing him, but to the faint heart people, please don't watch it..

The video blew up online and Americans all started demonstrating

There were so many people protesting, that they even went to protest in front of that white policeman's house

The parking lot of the mart

They also destroyed the mart

People's opinion is divided between: do we have to go that far to protest? Throwing stuff in the mart isn't a protest

VS

If all the protests that have been held until now couldn't change anything, and compared to the racism that was endured through all this time, this is nothing

+ by the way the mall that got destroyed in the picture isn't the mart that the incident happened

original post: here
t/n: there are  LOT of huge long debates in the comment section

1. Those white policemen are always causing so much trouble... If they wanted to change racism, they would've done it a thousand years ago

2. He seriously said with such a painful voice that he couldn't breath but even so, the policeman didn't budge, this is just too cruel... So many black people died from their oppression already and they still haven't fixed it? Seeing it like that, I totally understand the need for this kind of protest. I do feel bad for the civilians who were harmed by the protest, but f*ck just don't be a racist

3. Overreaction to racism > protest, arson, riot > bad impression of black people > racism intensifies > overreaction to racism... I feel like racism in its fundamentals, the overreaction as well as treating black people as criminals are real issues, and this incident was definitely a mistake, but I feel like this will lead to protests that will keep endangering other civilians' lives. I'm scared that protests like that will just worsen the image people have of black people...?

4. Their police is crazy, it's f*ck immoral to kill people over a fake bill, I hope this f*cker dies the same way, Floyd is f*cking pitiful ㅠㅠ

5. Wow so many KKKs here it's giving me goosebumps; Do you guys really think that being oppressed and protesting VS having a violent instinct is the same? Then you guys should just go overseas and get a taste of what it feels like to be called a Yellow monkey and get killed over it, you guys are seriously so naiveㅋㅋㅋ

6. I think that this issue is too complex to say whether it was warranted to go that far with the protest. It's hard to compare this kind of situation to anything else, and I don't think I'm qualified to be judging this situation

7. Holding a violent protest is great, it's f*cking great, but their direction is wrong!! They should be directing this against the powerful people, but why are they doing this towards citizens?

8. The police are the one who started the fire. And the police also took part in destroying other properties. If you watched the videos that's been circulating around, the first person who started the fire wasn't a protester but it was a policeman. The protesters were protesting peacefully, but the police started acting violent against the protesters. You can feel the racism just with the way they treated the protest this time. When the white people were protesting for stores to open their doors because they closed due to Corona, they just shut their eyes to them. The treatment is totally different

9. I just wonder how many white citizen is living life just well even though they've killed people before? The racism from white people is seriously barbaric

10. If you guys have not experienced it first hand, keep your words to yourself. Don't take any stances if  even if you have never committed any crimes, you're still at the risk of being killed just because of your race.. Do you guys really think that these people never tried to change things peacefully? If they try to solve it peacefully, the KKK will just laugh at them and this is the truth

11. They're only going this far with the violent protest because they couldn't solve anything through a peaceful one, racism is seriously disgusting

12. Why in the hell are they killing black people like this? I feel freaking ashamed for them

13. I wonder if this is a violent demonstration without knowing the target? Or this is a calculated demonstration that is targeting white citizens? I don't know myself, but I think it's based on your own opinion. But if you're trying to defend this, you're basically defending racism.
I feel so sorry towards the black ajussi, I couldn't watch the video until the end. That policeman needs to be charged criminally, just being the subject of public criticism isn't enough. I wonder how the US press is covering this

14. I've heard too many stories about white police oppression against black people...But this one is definitely way more severe.. Even after they've rioted, we still hear so many cases on racism in 2020, this is just dumbfounding..

15. The discrimination against black people has been a long build up, that police f*cker needs to be charged for murder

16. You guys are asking why black people are protesting when the white policeman killed so many black people with their guns and didn't even treat them like humans? ㅋㅋ

17. I just hate this, I feel so bad for the man who diedㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

18. What haven't they done to black people?? But it's been so many hundreds of years and nothing has changed

19. He died in such a horrible way, that man wasn't even carrying a gun, but just a fake cheque? ㅡㅡ

20. I watched the video and it's just too distressing... This is murder
