We are sharing an official statement regarding VIXX member Hongbin.
First, we express our sincere gratitude to fans who love VIXX a lot, and we are conveying sad news.
On August 7, Hongbin shared his intention to withdraw from VIXX. After careful discussion with the VIXX members and Hongbin, we are respecting his wishes and so it’s been decided that he will leave the group.
It’s planned that VIXX will promote as a five-member group in the future. We are very sorry to fans for causing concern with this sudden news, and we ask you to continue to love and support the VIXX members.

1. It was obviously better for him to just leave anyways.... From a fan's perspective... Just looking at him, it was impossible for him to continue as an idol with the way he has this inferiority complex when he looks at other idols. He will never be satisfied with anything we give him. Even with VIXX who is considered a successful group, he seems to not be satisfied with it..
2. I hope that Hongbin learns from this and lives a better life. And I hope he doesn't shade the group after this..
3. Hul I don't know what he's going to do but I hope he won't start streaming and recollecting his memories with VIXX or mentions other idols again. This seems to be a common point with members who leave the group

1. I would've never thought he would be someone like this looking at his face back then. Does he want to be the next Tegoshi Yuya? (t/n: ex-member of popular Japanese band NEWS who left his group and wrote a book about his exes and anecdotes of other J-idols, we're not too familiar with the situation so please correct us!)
