The 8 years old who survived Sewol tragedy, transferred school 3 times. Because of childish teasing, she was moved from place to place "I'm the victim... Why do I have to live like that?"
On April 16, 2014, a young girl was rescued from the ship just before the sinking and was able to climb to the last lifeboat. The mother (Mrs. Han), the father (Kwon Jaegeun ssi) as well her oppa (Hyuk Gyugoon) all lost their lives, leaving Eunji (at that time 5 years old) as the only survivor.
Eunji's family was on a trip to Jeju and boarded the Sewol ferry before meeting the devastating tragedy.
Immature kids would hear her story from somewhere and tell her "Your mom and dad all died?" hurting Eunji. Despite the circumstances, Eunji's teachers weren't able to protect her from the attacks. Eunji's aunt was growing worried about her being hurt, so she abandoned everything she lived with and sent her to a place where no one knew her face and her identity.
In order to not expose her to more pain in her current school, she decided to change Eunij's name.

- Why was the school and the teachers not able to protect her? I know that they can't psychologically shield her completely from it, but can they at least try to protect her in some ways?

- Those f*cking kids don't have any morals and manners, those kids are like their r*tarded parents, that's why they grow up like that. They need proper education. That kid is so pitiful to death
