Super Junior's Kangin and model Lee Chulwoo have denied accusations of being involved with Jung Joonyoung's group chat and shooting illegal videos.
According to 'One Night', Jung Joonyoung was boasting about doing prostitution overseas when on the set of filming JTBC's Hit Maker in 2016. Notably, it was reported that he was boasting in the chatroom to the members who were filming the show with him while sharing illegal videos. And so, it was reported that the members who were shooting Hit Maker and who received these videos were Kangin, Lee Chulwoo and Jung Jinwoon.
First of all, Kangin's agency SJ Label said "it is true that there was a temporary chatroom when he appeared in the program with Jung Joonyoung. But the chatroom already closed 3 years ago. Kangin does not remember what the other members posted or shared but he himself did not shoot any illegal videos and these rumors are groundless."
According to Lee Chulwoo's side, Esteem Entertainment said "it is clear that Lee Chulwoo is not included in the group chat and he did not shoot illegal video and has never been in contact with anyone involved. These are unfounded rumors."
The company added "Lee Chulwoo was included in the chatroom when he was in the cast of JTBC's Hit Maker program in 2016 with Jung Joonyoung. He was in the chat just for the purpose of sharing his schedule. Once the program ended, he never communicated in the chat again. Please refrain from spreading speculative reports."
