[teen stories] HAN RIVER UNIVERSITY STUDENT'S INCIDENT GOING CRAZY RIGHT NOW

t/n: we well call the friend "A" for simplicity

The Blue house petition:
https://www1.president.go.kr/petitions/Temp/8jPb4S (petition to reveal the truth behind the death of the student)

+++
This are the additional facts/speculations/suspicions about A added to this post https://m.pann.nate.com/talk/359498547 (t/n: it's included in this post)

[⚠️Facts]

- Shoes: It could clear himself as innocent, but he threw them away

- Lawyer: Accompanied him during the 2nd hypnosis session. A hasn't even been investigated yet and he already appointed a lawyer

- Hypnosis: His own intervention is possible, in conclusion they caught nothing on both times

- On the day of the disappearance, A made a statement that he was aware the student disappeared

- The truth behind the 3AM phone call: He didn't tell anyone about the disappearance

- Jungmin's phone: A was carrying it on himself, but he didn't pick up any calls

- Focus on suicide: A made several remarks to Jungmin's father alluding to him committing suicide

- Contamination zone/area: I'm not sure if you go near the Seolae island, but there are no areas on the Han river that is marked as a contaminated area (t/n: not too sure what this one is about)

- Claims of being drunk: he claims that he doesn't remember how drunk he was. He fell asleep at 2AM, however on the CCTV, it shows that he was still acting sober until 1:30AM. When he woke up, he claims to still have been so drunk that he doesn't remember anything. But when he went home, he was sober.

- A came out again from home at 4:30AM, when he appeared, his clothes and shoes were all different

- A changed his phone number and has been out of touch

- His phone was unresponsive

- Regarding the police) Taxi tracking: It's easy to track the taxi you take even if you pay in cash, you can easily find the taxi on CCTV. However, they still couldn't find anything about the friend. (t/n: the friend claims he took the taxi in the morning and could still see Jungmin at the park when he called Jungmin's dad. But netizens have been suspicious because there are no records of the friend ever taking a taxi at that time)

===============================

[⚠️Speculations]

- If he felt so wrongly accused, then why did he throw away his shows which could've proved his innocence?

- He's getting all the attention from the media currently. If he really felt so wrong, then why didn't he sue Jungmin's father yet?

- Funeral at dawn with his uncle) He's the one who was the last person seen with the student, yet he doesn't attend his funeral. I can understand him not going out of the guilt for not being able to save him. However, as soon as the father gave his interview to the press, he appeared to the funeral at dawn, but this time with his uncle. Is it common to go to a friend's funeral with an uncle...? I've never heard of this

===============================

[⚠️Suspicions]

- He refused to disclose his appartment's CCTV footage, refused to disclose his black box footage (this isn't fact yet, so I'm writing down as suspicions)

- He was so drunk to the point he couldn't distinguish between a Galaxy phone and an Iphone, yet when he comes out again, he was still carrying the phone on him

- The bag and the Ipad (t/n: ?)

There are way too many suspicions around him that I can't list them all

Of course, I was only describing the facts so far, so the truth about A might be different from this

ex) Although his friend disappeared, A was more interested in fashion that his friend disappearing, and because he is a fashionista in Han River Park, he might've wanted to change his clothes and shoes in a variety of ways, and pursue the best of best of fashion looks, so he always throws away his clothes after 1 wear.
He might be a peculiar predisposition that he allows him to not remember anything from being completely blacked out drunk to completely sober in 30 minutes.
Since he has a phobia of hypnosis and you can bring anyone you want in the session, he was scared to go alone and he felt embarrassed to tell that to his parents, so he directly appointed a lawyer with him
It is also possible that he may have extraordinary superpowers that others do not know.
Maybe the parents asking to receive a call about whether Jungmin is going home is something that the previous generation was doing and this isn't something that new generation kids do anymore.

So please don't jump on the bandwagon against the friend too much (t/n: OP is being sarcastic)

===============================

1) More than six police cars and policemen searched near Seolae Island at dawn on that day. However, nothing was reported. It's so unusual to search on the Han River, so many pictures should've technically be taken.

+++) Looking at the comments on the Naver articles:
From police side - This was a minor collision that happened in the parking
Media side - How can a collision happen in a restaurant's parking at 4AM in the morning?/The parking lot is super huge, and there are barely any cars there/Why didn't the insurance/tow truck appear?/Do you really think that over 2 cars will appear over a minor collision?/There was fisher who made a comment about how usually there would be at most 2 cars patrolling, etc.

"I was fishing on Seolae island and there were several police cars that pulled up starting from around 3:30AM in the morning, I saw several police units flashing their lights. Is this something different?? The time was a bit ambiguous.

I remember there were a lot of fishermen around, so you guys can log into those fishermen communities and ask them too.

I took this picture where I usually fish at night and I've never seen this many policemen. I took this picture to show my friend"

> The time you took the picture and the time the student went missing are overlapping. Anyone can tell that this isn't something different, I think that the police showed up because of the disappearance.. The father who made the post (t/n: Jungmin's father posted on his blog after the incident which sparked everything) and he said that nothing was revealed about the situation yet, but rather than asking us to log into the fishing community to ask questions, I feel like you'll be more helpful if you could add a bit more about the situation...
>The friend claims to have woken up at 4:30AM in the article. But the police pulled up before 4AM and were even flashing their lights. They also looked like they were looking for something/someone. This is all so suspicious, can you let us know your location at that time?

(t/n: seems like the convo between the OP fisherman and his fishing community?friends? We will use the nicknames in the katalk convo for clarity)

[OP sent the picture at 3:56AM)
[4:19AM] Tube: Why were you there?

[4:26AM] Frodo: Shouldn't you be home at this time?

[4:31AM] OP: *Picture* There are 6 police cars, their lights are opened and it's f*cking flashy. What's happening?

[4:33AM] Frodo: What the? Something must've happened

2) Regarding the middle and highschool school students
(t/n: apparently, there were 3 highschool/middle school students who were seen sprinting at Han River on CCTV on that day at the time + location of the incident here)

+) This is the suspicion that arose after the article came out (article stating that the police was in fact dispatched)

--> Regarding the time and the distance those 3 people where, how does the location and the time zone fit the time frame of the police dispatch?

--> If they were really highschool/middle school students, there were all running at the same time and there were so many police cars there, how is it possible that none of those 3 people running saw the police? Did the police not announce that they were searching the area?

If you walk quickly from the police location, you will arrive at the CCTV location (where the 3 students were seen) at 4:30AM, whether it's the police car or the things around, you could clearly see them.

In red: on the left, red, the police's location at 4:19AM. On the right, in red, where they found the body
In the white rectangle: Where the 3 people were seen running at 4:30AM
The distance between them and the dead body was 1.5km

(fastest route walking between the police location to the CCTV location is 11min)

It's also quite curious to see how they couldn't find any trace or CCTV about A nor Jungmin who were just sitting around, yet they found the evidence of those 3 people sprinting who were technically unrelated to this case and who were just passing by so easily.

3) Seolae island

4) Phone signal location suspicion
The 2 people both live in Gangnam, however, the location is there
(Phone of the deceased) (Banpo is the neighborhood district of Gangnam)

We cannot let this case die down. We need to know whether this is a police coverup

Me too I saw 'this' article and came. (t/n: see below) I seriously got goosebumps. How can A's uncle be someone like this?? Turns out that at the end of all this, he use to be a chief police... And of all cases, this is summoning Burning Sun againㄷㄷ  Now I can totally understand the dad writing all his blog posts if he knew the backing that A has, he needs to keep the attention on this caseㅠㅠ  He knows that this case is probably too big to be handled alone... He didn't only lose his precious son, but he will also lose the reason of his death just like how he was buried in Han river..

Everyone please go read this article https://n.news.naver.com/article/comment/032/0003072331 ... The journalist is also putting things in line to write this
t/n: brief of the article: It has been confirmed that Lee Jaehoon, the former Seoul Gangnam Police Chief (53), who was placed on standby the 2019 Burning Sun Incident has retired after being exposed to suspicion of misconduct by his subordinates. However, he continued working for the National Police Agency since last year. One official said "Former Chief Lee had no misconduct at the time of the Burning Sun incident, but he suffered from a series of problems with his subordinates." Lee is currently employed at the Sejong law firm.

The drawing is giving me f*cking goosebumps (t/n: apparently OP removed it, someone in the replies said it has to do with the 3 runners)

4. [+332, -5]
People who are trying to bury this incident down, just how embarrassing can you guys be? The body of a medical student has been found, his father is writing in his blog to earn attention from the nation right now, this isn't a scenario that anyone would've expected. And now we even have proofs that there were witnesses of seeing the police thereㅋㅋㅋ I bet A was having it easy because everyone wanted to remain neutral on this at first... I think that this will end up being a battle between the power of the elite and the general public needs to keep an eye on them

5. [+319, -5]
Just like the detective Lee Yongjoon (t/n: we covered it here), the investigation ended up with suicide. This incident is no joke. We were the ones who were able to solve the Soon-siri incident (?), let's try to solve this too, for our future

6. [+255, -1]
This is seriously a sight... If this is true, these people will end up doing whatever they want out of this case

7. [+251, -1]
Am I the only one who believes that we can't let this case be buried? This is at the level of Burning Sun. Isn't this systematic cover-up for corruption too?? Burning Sun had Seungri and Jung Joonyoung who were celebrities that kept the incident alive so that people never forgot, but please, let's not make the media forget this

8. [+239, -1]
Jun-S-yah surrender already (t/n: probably the name of A)

9. [+190, -0]
What I'm curious of is this. The people who were fishing around saw 6 police cars, but they didn't give us more clarifications about it? If they were really patrolling over another case, don't you think that we would've had news about other cases already?

10. [+172,- 1]
The police needs to release the black box and the voice recording of the day they dispatched their cars to that location. Don't they have a auto-record function?
