[theqoo] YOUTUBE, WILL HAVE A SPURGING INCREASE IN ADS STARTING NEXT YEAR

(Picture not included)
Revision of Terms of Service...Ads are also exposed to small and medium-sized creators

YouTube is exponentially increasing its advertising. Advertisements are expected to be posted on all YouTube videos from next year.

According to the IT industry on the 24th, YouTube recently revised its Terms of Services to allow ads to be posted on videos of channels that are not included in the YouTube Partner Program (YPP).

The revised terms and conditions were implemented immediately in the U.S. and will be applied to foreign countries, including Korea, from the middle of next year.

YPP is a program through which creators can make profits by placing advertisements on their YouTube content. Only creators with more than 4,000 hours of videos to watch over the last 12 months and more than 1,000 subscribers are eligible for this program. The advertising revenue is shared by YouTube and creators.

Until now, video clips of creators who do not meet the standards for joining YPP or do not want to monetize content have not been eligible for advertisements, but from now on, even videos of small and medium-sized creators who do not want to join the program will have advertisements running on their videos. However, as these creators are not with the YPP, they will not be able to receive the advertisement revenue.

1. They look like f*cking thugs; So even if the creators don't want it, they are just doing whatever they like and taking all the money themselves

2. So now, when we listen to ASMR, we'll get an ad in the middle?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ if the creators don't want ads, why are they putting them themselves?

3. They should lower the price of YT Premium

4. Let's decrease our amount of time spent on YT and more in real life.. ^^

5. That's too much

6. I need to put my AdBlock everywhere

7. AdBlock

8. Crazy, cut it down

9. I don't care if they have ads but YT is too much of a Monopoly now. I hope that they get a rival soon

10. There's already so many ads now. It's getting tiring
