[enter-talk] I'LL EXPLAIN WHY CL DESERVES TO DO THE CLOSING CEREMONY

t/n: basically there's a post going around with people reacting to the Olympics closing ceremonies and most comments are saying stuff like "Why is CL here?"

Why does CL deserve to attend?
I keep seeing people mentioning how Psy and Bangtan were there so they had to balance male/female singers and all the comments mentioning Psy and Bangtan are complaining about CL.

The only female solo artist who reached Billboard main chart hot 100 was CL

She's in USA's biggest entertainment agency Scooter Braun with Bieber, Ariana, Tory Kelly, Carly Rae Jebsen, etc.


She appeared on USA's EDM festival with Justin Bieber as a main performer


She sold out her North American tour


She featured on one of the big 3 talkshows in the US "Late Night with James Corden"


And aside of those KPOP fans overseas, the Korean singer that's best known = CL
She's good at live and performance
Foreigners don't really dig our aegyo culture so they rather see her
So stop saying how CL's attendance was random

+ she even participated in My Little Pony's movie

Seriously people overseas who have no idea of KPOP all think that CL is the hottest singer here

I'm looking forward CL's stage the most. Those North Korean kids' performances only knows how to go "General General!" they must all faint when they see CL perform The baddest Female and Hello B*tches ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Is there any other female idol who's able to stand alone on stage and have both performance + foreign popularity like CL? Someone said that her closing ceremony was as good as 1Direction performing in the UK

CL barely has any mediaplay, but she still made it to the Hot 100, isn't she the first female artist (solo and group included) that achieved it after Wonder girls' Nobody??

No matter how random this was, her stages are f*cking good, and there are still no other female idols like her. BoA could've done the job too, but CL is way hotter, she also has better stage presence  ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
