The idols coming out nowadays are obviously cool and amazing, but the 1st generation like H.O.T, and the 1.5 generation Bigbang, TVXQ were the ones who planted the roots for KPOP, but aren't
the generation of Highlight, Shinee and Infinite that started to spread recognition of KPOP overseas?
Of course it also includes everyone who debuted in 2009~2011, but they are the ones who are still alive now and whose fandoms are still very big. Especially Infinite and Highlight, their recent comebacks are still receiving good results and they're still promoting competitively.
They're not idols in their prime time anymore, but considering it's been 8~9 years that they're out there so aren't their results good?
If you exclude Bigbang, they're also the representatives of "small agencies", they're also the "synchronized-dols" and they're all idols who started those buzz words.
Ah I felt like people were neglecting them, so I want to write a post to say that they're still doing very good, lots of people have been calling them has-beens lately...

- Agree agree, aren't Infinite and Highlight the originators of "miracle of small companies"..? Infinite was in a company with Epik High and Nell, and they've became a group with 2 hoobae groups now, it's so fascinating. Shinee Highlight and Infinite have face, personality and skills, they're seriously the epitome of what idols mean

- Isn't it amazing that Infinite and Highlight are already 10 years into their debut but still win #1 on music shows

- I don't think that Shinee are underrated but I definitely agree for Infinite and Highlight

- The small agencies' miracles, small agencies' myth, small agencies' role models: Highlight and Infinite. I always feel kinda bitter when those new idols choose these labels for themselvesㅠㅠ Of course I'm not saying those are not amazing, but I hope people knew where those words originated from... If your biases are precious for you, then our biases are precious for us too
